Retired Baltimore County Councilman
A Personal Endorsement

Dear Republican Neighbor,
I spent my career as a Public School Math Teacher, Auditor, State Delegate, and a 3rd District Baltimore County Councilman fighting for the betterment of the communities and the environment of the District.
Let me start by saying that Theaux Le Gardeur, in my opinion, is the ONLY candidate suited to represent the District on the County Council. Theaux is the common sense, fiscal conservative that will continue my legacy in:
- Protecting our suburban and rural lifestyle
- Supporting our Police, Fire Fighter’s and Paramedics.
- Protecting the Urban Rural Demarcation Line (URDL)
- Fighting the Maryland Piedmont Reliability Project (MPRP) to keep our farmland intact
- Protecting the quality of drinking water for all residents
- Protecting prime and productive soils from solar installations on farmland
His opponent, Nino Mangione’s vocal commitment to the people of the District has not been backed up by his actions in Annapolis. Over the past 8 years, it is my opinion that Nino Mangione has been an ineffective Delegate. Importantly, he received a 0% score repeatedly from the Maryland League of Conservation Voters (MDLCV) and Nino Mangione only averaged a 4% environmental score, the lowest MDLCV environmental score among the 141 members in the house and the last on environment among all Republicans on protecting the water, air and open space that we all need.
Like me, Theaux is committed to preserving our suburban neighborhoods and will fight urbanization below the URDL and protect our rural way of life above the URDL.
I have listened to Theaux Le Gardeur testify on community interests and environment and have benefitted from his input in past Comprehensive Zoning Mapping Planning cycles that have protected environment, water quality and community interests. I know that Theaux will not move the URDL, will continue to fight the MPRP and will never raise your taxes. Theaux has an excellent track record of solving problems in the community and I enthusiastically support him to continue my legacy of representing your interests in the new District 5.
Thank you for your consideration,
Sincerely,
Wade Kach
